Juncker got it right this time. Given the terrifying situation of the Eurozone it needs truly magic to move on a better and mores solid path. His new commissioner (pending green light from the European Parliament) Vileta Bulc from Slovenia exactly is the person the ailing EU is desperately looking for. According to her websites and twitter messages she is a string believer in positive emotional powers and holistic approaches. Already her nomination at home demonstrated what magic can achieve: She got actually more no then yes votes for her nomination but then the guys who were at the time not at the cabinet table where magically (!) counted as yes-voters, and there she is. She needed only two hours of a face-to-face meeting with the Luxembourgh schlendrian to convince him that she is the ideal candidate. Transport may not be the most sexiest directorate to lead but then again she will turn this boring resort quickly into a powerhouse. A lack of background is no problem at all – in this respect she is in best company in the new Juncker College.
